Rates

Our services will stay true to your needs… our rates too!

Each translation project is different. Therefore we cannot give you an all-inclusive fixed rate. However, you should know that:

  • Translation projects are typically charged on a flat rate per word basis
  • Revision and proofreading work is also usually charged on a flat rate per word or an hourly basis, depending on the project

Upon examining your needs, and in order to provide you with the most accurate, realistic and customized FREE quote, we will carefully analyze the following factors:

The service requested

Do you need translation, editing or proofreading services? Note that our translation rates include careful editing and thorough proofreading.

The nature of the translation

Will it require extensive research for specific terminology or does it come with an existing glossary or a Translation Memory?

The timeframe

Is the project a rush job? Will it require work over the weekend or on a holiday? Please note that while rush jobs (less than 24 hours notice) may be subject to an additional fee, WordKeeper Translations will not charge you extra for work done outside “regular” business hours.

The format of your source file(s)

Will it require additional work to reformat the final document? Note that documents sent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Text are perfectly acceptable, while other formats (such as PDF) may require extra reformatting work if they are not editable.

The above-listed items are some of the criteria you need to factor in when sourcing a translator. There are other equally important ones, which will help you better define your exact needs, ensure a smooth translation process and help your professional translator deliver the utmost quality.
